Frauke Klatt's "pictures of sailing" have changed marine painting permanently over the last 20 years. Her sailing pictures have opened a completely new, modern chapter with museum recognition. For the distinctive sailing pictures she uses different techniques and developed them further for her very special style. Among other things, she paints 3-dimensionally with acrylic on canvas as well as glazing watercolours on sails. She depicts the impressions she has gained herself from her own personal point of view. Frauke Klatt is represented internationally by galleries in England, Portugal, Mallorca and the East Coast of the USA.
