The sleeping beach chairs in Travemünde are genuine, handmade one-offs. They are made on the beach chair manufacturing site of the Stiftung Mensch. Holiday bliss is engendered here in a positive atmosphere of inclusion with great love of detail and high professional standards. The aim of the Foundation is to allow people with disabilities to exercise self-determination and participate in social life. The beach chair manufacturing site shows the success of this concept.
Here’s what awaits you in a sleeping beach chair
A total of four sleeping beach chairs are available on Travemünde’s Kurstrand beach on the fine sand of the beach by the sea. With a width of around 1.20 metres, they offer enough space for a comfortable night for two. A tarpaulin will protect you from too much sun, wind and weather and from curious glances as the chair can be completely closed at night. Thanks to two lateral portholes, you have the sea and the stars constantly in view. Or simply pull the curtains for greater privacy. Sweet dreams await you on the soft mattress.
