With the fresh Baltic Sea breeze in your nose, your faithful companion explores Travemünde in his own way. Holidays are always the best time of year for the whole family. Of course, your four-legged friend can't be left out!

Dog beaches in Travemünde
In Travemünde, the two dog beaches invite you to swim, dig and play together during the bathing season from 15 May to 14 September on Brodtner Ufer (Söhrmanndamm area, the first 100 m behind the former Mövenstein bathing establishment) and on the Priwall peninsula (approximately between the third beach access and the beach chair zone).

A specially equipped dog bathing jetty on the Brodten steep bank ensures animal bathing pleasure, as the jetty guides the four-legged bathers safely over the boulders piled up as breakwaters.

Just like at the "non-dog beach", a beach use fee per person is charged at the dog beach on Priwall during the season.
The beach on Brodtener Ufer is generally free of charge.

The best time to travel with your dog on holiday in Travemünde on the Baltic Sea
As the ideal time to travel by the sea for dog owners, the early and late season is particularly recommended. Then all beaches in Travemünde and on the Priwall are open to dogs. 

Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed on the spa beaches from 1 April to 30 September. Containers for poop bags are placed on the promenade.
