Strolling and promenading have a long tradition in Travemünde.

With a width of 20 metres and a length of 1.7 kilometres, it is today considered the most beautiful promenade in Schleswig-Holstein. At the beginning of the green beach there is a 60 m long promenade jetty. The footbridge has a bench of about 16 m in length from where the entire promenade, the beach and the sea can be observed. Binoculars are available along the footbridge for all great explorers.
A beautiful oasis with a direct view of the sea! Various seating options and two barbecue stations invite you to spend pleasant hours and enjoy great barbecue evenings in the area of the green beach.
At the "Pirate's Nest" playground at the end of the green beach area, children can let off steam in climbing nets, fish traps and wooden ships. Toddlers, older children and teenagers have lots of fun in the different areas.
