Description

Welcome to one of the many apartments of our vacation rental service Travemünde! This is where you will find a home for as long as you wish to stay.

The Maritim stands directly next to both the Travemünde Beach and the estuary of the Trave. It towers the waters with its 125 meters. The hotel is located on the 5th to the 14th floors. All the other floors are private apartments partly in use for vacation rentals. All floors can be reached with the elevators. There are no regular stairs (only the fire exit stairs). Europe highest lighthouse light is on the rooftop in 114,7 m height. This light took over in 1974 for the oldest lighthouse Germany, the old Travemünde Lighthouse, stuck only a few meters behind the tower.

Travel arrangements

Check-in from 2.30 pm / Check-out until 11 am

For your arrival: you will receive the keys to your accommodation at the Tourist-Information in Travemünde, Am Leuchtenfeld 10a (tel: +49 451 8899700).
During the main season (Easter-October) you may arrive Mo-Fr between 2.30 and 6 pm and in the winter time (November-Easter) Mo-Fr between 2.30 and 5 pm. You will find the opening times for Saturdays, Sundays and holidays on our website https://www.visit-travemuende.com/poi/tourist-information-travemunde 

Outside opening hours the keys will be awaiting you in a key safe next to the side entrance of the Tourist-Information Travemünde. Please ask early enough for the information about your access code for the safe. Dear guest, if you did not register a cellphone number or an email address during your booking procedure, please write us a message in case of a late arrival during our opening hours under fewo@luebeck-tourismus.de or call one of the phone numbers above so that we can give you an access code to the key safe otherwise we cannot guarantee for a smooth arrival.

Additional information

Final cleaning is included in the final price. A linen package (bed linen, towels, 1 shower mat, kitchen towel) can be booked for a fee of € 24.50 per person, at the latest two week before arrival. Pets are not allowed. Non-smoking apartment.

You will receive a transponder with which you can open the main door to the residence, unlock the elevators and then open your own apartment.

The apartment is located on the 25th floor of the MARITIM RESIDENCE. When you reach the 25th floor, turn right. The apartment (number 223a) is on the left (penultimate door). At the apartment door, press any key on the door lock and hold the transponder over the keyboard. After hearing a short tone you will be able to open the door (for about 10-15 seconds) by turning the knob to the left.

Free WIFI
Terms and conditions of use: by using the free WIFI in the apartment you are accepting the terms and conditions of use of the owner of the apartment. Please note that the performance of minimum bandwidth can not be guaranteed. You will find both the terms and conditions as well as the passwort the apartment.

A parking card can be booked for 10 €/night for the Maritim parking garage.

You will find an outdoor parking space for bikes with holders next to the entrance of the residence.

You will find wellness offers like swimming pool, sauna, cosmetic, hairdresser or restaurants and coffee shops at extra costs in the house.

Please note that that during the summertime the beach will be cleaned up mechanically early mornings and there might be disturbances by noise. Seaweed might get washed ashore and then stored on the beach, which might cause unpleasant odors. None of these nuisances give a right to lower the price or ask for compensation.

Please note furthermore that there will be events along the promenade and on the beach – especially on weekends – and that it might get louder around those times. We also would like to point out that the Travemünder Woche, the second biggest world sail event, always takes place at the end of July. Please ask about the exact dates if you don’t want to book around that time.

The visitor tax is not included in the final booking price!
The tax amounts to € 1,60/night per person from January 1st to May 14th and September 15th to December 31st and to € 3,00 from May 15th to September 14th.

Cancellation
If the tenant cancels the contract after making the down-payment the vacation rental service will withhold an amount of € 29,- as a service fee. The remain of the down-payment will be refunded.
If you cancel later than 60 days before the begin of your stay the full amount will still be due. We advise to a cancellation insurance, which you can contract up to 10 days following the booking. If we are able to rent the place for either the whole time period or at least part of it, the due amount will be diminished consequently. The tenant is allowed to name another person as a replacement.
