Amazing summer at sea!

Cultural Summer Travemünde from 24th June 2021

The cultural summer at the sea is going to be hot! Our artists have been eagerly waiting for the chance to perform live for you on a real stage again, and now this moment has finally come. A unique fireworks of life-acts await you during the event from 24th June until the end of September on the beach stage right at the beach terraces of Travemünde. The programme features open-air concerts, acting and other fine cultural moments that will really heat up the live. Audience after these long months of lockdown and create a cultural heat wave at the beach. Come join us with your feet in the sand! Of course, with keeping a safe distance from others, with check-in via the luca app and in compliance with the current Covid-19 rules. Admission is free!

Wednesday, 1. 9.

5 pm • Kombüse • Concert
Own lyrics, handmade music, stylistically broadly diversified - the band simply does not fit into any pigeonhole. You can expect pop music that is not too clean, but still catchy, flanked by poetic-comical lyrics.

Thursday. 2. 9.

5 pm • Anja Marshall • Book reading
Since 2012, the Hamburg native has been writing exciting crime novels, thrillers and historical novels. Let yourself be surprised from which of her works she will read!


7.30 pm • HERTZ-Bande • Concert
The HERTZ-Bande from Lübeck paints with genre-spanning timbres and has brought open words, loving and moving lyrics. Let yourself in for dreamlike, thoughtful and encouraging songs from the wide world of emotions.

Friday, 3. 9.

5 pm • Facio • Concert
With his own songs and a sunny, danceable mix of southern sounds, acoustic reggae, Latin, world music, pop and mediterranean guitar, the singer, guitarist and composer inspires his audience. 

Tuesday, 7.9.

5 pm • Gabi Liedtke • Concert
The singer from Northern Germany inspires with her multi-faceted voice - sometimes a rock voice, sometimes soulful soul. The authentic musician covers well-known hits of the 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s and current hits.


7.30 pm • North Wisper • Concert
The duo North Whisper wanders through the genres of pop-rock with its unique blend of violin, guitar and vocals. Sometimes very gentle with soulful ballads or quite impulsive with a folk-inspired song.

5 pm • Jörg Lornsen • Concert
The Lübeck-born artist brings his poetic and vivid lyrics to life with his passionate, unmistakably smoky and soulful voice.

7.30 pm • A.C.HIM • Concert
Folk songs, pop songs, country rock, folk rock, ballads or own unplugged versions of well-known pop and rock songs, also self-written and spontaneous ideas on stage - that is A.C.HIM.

Friday, 10 9.

5 pm • NuthouseFlowers • Concert
Over the years, the party-hungry student formation of yesteryear has become a professional folk-rock band. The classics of the Pogues, solo numbers by Shane MacGowan and Irish traditionals are always performed close to the original and with the best live presence. 

Tuesday, 14. 9.

5 pm • Lübeck Jazz Allstars • Concert
The Allstars bring a colourful programme of briskly played swing, Latin and rock jazz titles from the hit parade of jazz to the stage. Old faces", so to speak, who create a relaxed and enjoyable open-air atmosphere for the whole family.
7.30 pm • The T-Age Project • Concert
Two guys from Lübeck, Helge Raht and Torsten Piontek, play music they grew up with - hits and non-retro mainstream from the 60s to today.

Wednesday, 15. 9.

5 pm • Norma • Concert
She comes from the unique island of Föhr. Her mother tongue is Frisian. So of course she sings her sensitive repertoire in High German, Frisian and brand new in the program: Low German. 

Thursday, 16. 9.

5 pm • Ostseetrio • Concert
Musical diversity with the Baltic Sea Trio - experience music from Bossa-Nova to Schlager. The Baltic Sea Trio formed during the second Corona Lockdown in early 2021 and quickly defined a style all their own: with piano and guitar, percussion and three voices.
7.30 pm • L.A. Comedy • Comedy
Danny & OJ talk about media, comedy, music, society, sex and bizarre finds on the internet. Both are artists and so Danny also talks about his work as a music producer and OJ about his work as a videographer & stand-up comedian.

Friday, 17. 9.

5 pm • Kunstmann & Ritz • Concert
Piano, trumpet, ukulele, comedy and singing - with the project "Kunstmann & Ritz" Jan Kunstmann and Hans-Peter Ritz have combined their artistic activities and bring pure variety to the stage.

Tuesday, 21. 9.

5 pm • Georgie Carbutler • Concert
The musician with charismatic voice really only cares about one thing: singing songs! With his passion and the ability to carry away the audience, he rocks every event.

7.30 pm • Timmitusch Band • Concert
The Timmitusch Band offers a varied repertoire of cover songs from the last 60 years in a guitar-heavy country-rock style.

Wednesday, 22. 9.

5 pm • Peter Simon Company • Concert
The singer/songwriter and founder of the band "Glenfiddle", Peter Simon, has recorded the CD "Harvest" with his new band "Peter Simon Company". In addition to his own songs with a current political background, very personal love songs will also make you sit up and take notice.

Thursday, 23. 9.

5 pm • Friedrich Jr. • Concert 
The band comes up with accordion, double bass and a voice whose patina is unparalleled! The music moves in the genre of chanson and neo-folk - full of feeling, with colorful German lyrics.
7.30 pm • Imke & J • Concert
Handmade pop and a wonderful voice: The project "Imke & J" consists of the singer Imke Gerdes and the composer and pianist Jan-Christoph Mohr. 

Friday, 24. 9.

5 pm • La Mano Letal • Concert
The band "La Mano Letal" consists of up to ten international musicians, almost all of whom are students and graduates of the University of Music Lübeck. Salsa, Merengue and Son Cubano will sweep you away.

Tuesday, 28. 9.

5 pm • Carbutler & Lüdeke • Concert
Georgie Carbutler and Jockel Lüdeke - two guitarists and singers who leave an impression as they improvise their way through songs that the audience has never heard before. Well-known sounds from the last five decades appear in a completely new dress. 
7.30 pm • Facio • Concert
With his own songs and a sunny, danceable mix of southern sounds, acoustic reggae, Latin, world music, pop and mediterranean guitar, the singer, guitarist and composer inspires his audience.

5 pm • Martin Kämpfer • Concert
Martin Kämpfer brings lots of emotions onto the stage and into the hearts of his audience – sometimes he performs with a live-band, on other days solo. But his songs are always authentic.

Thursday, 30. 9.

5 pm • Polina Vita • Concert
She has been on stage with her self-written songs since she was 17. At 18, she began working as a songwriter for Hamburg's Boogie Park Studios and has since written songs for and with artists as diverse as R&B singer Truth Hurts from the USA and Joachim Pastor from Paris.
5 pm • Tramper • Concert
"Tramper" is the energetic good-mood folk-rock band from Northern Germany. The mix of own songs with German lyrics and cover songs makes the unusual trio of distorted guitar, drums and bass the perfect festival mix.
